Friends of Salt Springs Park is a volunteer-run nonprofit that preserves and manages Salt Springs Park’s scenic woodlands, waterfalls, trails, campsites, historic structures, and nature programs for public outdoor enjoyment and education.

Friends of Salt Springs Park is a dedicated Montrose-area nonprofit organization that safeguards and operates Salt Springs Park — an 842-acre natural treasure of forests, streams, historic homesteads, and miles of hiking trails — by maintaining the land, hosting year-round outdoor recreation and educational events, and encouraging community involvement through volunteer opportunities, memberships, and conservation initiatives that keep the park accessible and thriving for everyone.
